Site work for a water / sewer project in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
remediation of a 3,000 gallon heating oil tank installed underground and inside of the Lansdowne Theater. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: opening, draining, cleaning, filling, and sealing of a buried 3,000 gallon heating oil tank. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay portal the associated fees pursuant to their fee schedule. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. There will be no physical bid opening, bids will be facilitated via the portal Bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Borough and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Borough of Lansdowne. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a contract surety approved by the Borough of Lansdowne. The bidder attention is called to the facts that this project is assisted with funding from the Commonwealth Financing Authority and various commonwealth requirements apply as noted in bid documents, including but not limited to Prevailing Wage and Related Acts and equal opportunity provisions. Award of the Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Borough of Lansdowne reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
