Renovation of an educational facility in Camrose, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 29,000-square-foot educational facility.
The fundamental intent of the project is to simultaneously replace sections of roofing at Augustana Campus, Convocation Centre and Faith and Life Centre. Two conventionally insulated low slope roofing sections, centrally located on the Convocation Centre, have reached the end of their service life. The intent of this project is to conduct a skin and replacement roof replacement of the existing conventionally insulated built-up (BUR) system with a new conventional BUR roof system that includes improvements for insulation, transition detailing and slope/drainage. The approximate roof area is 17,500 ft2. The Faith and Life complex consists of a series of low slope and sloped roof sections at varying elevations and is directly adjoining the Convocation complex. Nine of the conventionally insulated low slope roofing sections have reached the end of their service life and will be replaced as part of this project. The intent of this project is to conduct a skin and replacement roof replacement of the existing conventionally insulated built-up (BUR) system with a new conventional BUR roof system that include improvements for insulation, transition detailing and slope/drainage. The approximate roof area is 11,500 ft2. Cancelled.
