The Howard County Regional Water Commission in New Franklin, Missouri, is requesting qualifications for engineering services to address the addition of a second clarifier, assistance with funding applications and construction permits. The engineering services may include planning, design, and construction permits. Funding for the project may include, Missouri Department of Natural Resources Financial Assistance Center, State Revolving Fund program, American Rescue Plan Act, Bipartisan Infrastructure Plan, and any other funding sources as may be identified. Qualification information provided to the Howard County Regional Water Commission shall include:A. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required. B. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project. C. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of cost, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules. D. The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. E. The firm's professional experience in designing waterwastewater systems. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, an engineer agreement will be negotiated.
