The construction will occur in two phases. Phase 1 (this bid), will include, but not be limited to: Staging area construction, site protection (fencing and other means), erosion control measures, tree and vegetation protection measures, adjoining facilities protection measures, utilities coordination, temp power and water installation, site clearing, tree and stump removal, grubbing, existing project area utilities abandonment and removal, existing campground furnishings and fixtures removal, new utility installation (water, sewer, electric, telecommunications, and gas), removal and relocation of an existing prefabricated restroom, rough grading of site, and site winterization. Phase 1 (this bid) will also require site survey and documentation of all newly placed underground utilities and finished grades of site prior to winterization. Phase 2 will consist of the vertical construction of the facility, completion of utilities, completion of site work, and landscape and hardscape. Phase 2 is not part of this project scope. All questions (RFI's) for this project bid shall be submitted through the City's bid portal. City will not answer or respond to questions submitted by email, voicemail, fax, or US Mail. All bidders must register at the city's bid portal to submit questions, receive answers, addendums, and/or other project communications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage pursuant to the provisions of California Labor Code, Sections 1770 to 1780, inclusive thereof, the Contractor, and any subcontractor, of any tier, shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. This project is under the jurisdiction of the City of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, the Lahontan Regional Water Control Board, and the California Division of Forestry and Fire. Permitting for this project is under all agencies listed above.
