The City of Richland Hills is seeking a qualified contractor to construct covered parking structures in the existing Police Department Parking Lot. The desired specifications of the parking structures are as follows: o Fabrication/erection of two (2) 20'x70' carport structures, single slope, galvalume R-panel roof o One (1) 20' x 64' carport structure, single slope, galvalume R-panel roof o Frames to be painted per customer specification In addition, the City would like bids on two (2) alternate structures that could become part of this scope of work if pricing allows. Alternate Structures: o Fabrication/erection of one(1) sidewalk cover from parking area up to back door of building approximately 5'x30', single slope, galvalume R-panel roof o Fabrication/erection of one (1) patio cover approximately 10'x30', single slope, galvalume R- panel roof o Frames to be painted per customer specification Questions about the technical nature of the Scope of Services, etc. may be directed to Scott Russell,Police Captain, Phone: (817) 616-3786, Email: srussell@richlandhills.com Bond Requirements: Prior to the commencement of work on this Project, Bidder shall deliver to the City the following bonds issued by a good and sufficient surety licensed by the State of Texas and satisfactory to the City: i. A payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount insuring the full and prompt payment of all persons performing labor and/or furnishing materials in connection with this Project; ii. A p erformance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount insuring full, faithful, and prompt performance of the responsibilities contained in this contract within the time parameters provided herein; and iii. A maintenance bond insuring full and prompt maintenance, repair and/or replacement of the goods to be provided by Bidder for a period of two years from date of acceptance by the City. City reserves the right to award one contract for some or all the requirements proposed or award multiple contracts for various portions of the requirements to different Bidders based on the unit prices proposed in response to this request, or to reject any and all Bids and re- solicit for Bids, as deemed to be in the best interest of City.
