This project will provide a new home and long-term care facility for 234 veterans. This project includes demolition and removal of three existing buildings, and construction of a new nine-story high rise steel frame building (approximately 350,000 square feet) with brick and curtain wall exterior. State Project No. HLY2102 This project will provide a new home and long-term care facility for 234 veterans. This Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. DCAMM, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public Construction Manager at Risk ("CM at Risk") Project for the construction of the Holyoke Soldiers' Home - Long-term Care Facility and Campus Framework, Holyoke, MA, through this RFQ process. Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications Forms from interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following fifteen (15) categories of work: Masonry ($10,955,754); Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron ($1,821,609); Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($2,337,152); Roofing & Flashing ($2,361,959); Glass & Glazing ($1,053,800); Tile ($2,043,683); Acoustical Tile ($3,333,368); Resilient Floors ($4,297,676); Terrazzo ($957,167); Painting ($1,856,114); Elevators ($3,782,336); Fire Protection Sprinkler System ($3,536,159); Plumbing ($17,276,139); HVAC ($36,812,327); Electrical ($35,037,694). Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids for the categories of work in which they were prequalified. The Construction Manager is Commodore|Walsh, Holyoke Joint Venture.
