This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the City of Kamloops (the "City") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Chemicals for Utilities Treatment Facilities, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The City is looking for an experienced professional coagulant and polymer provider for consultation, supply, and delivery for both the Kamloops Sewage Treatment Centre (KSTC) and Kamloops Centre for Water Quality (KCWQ). The City estimates an aggregate value of over $650,000.00 annually for these chemicals; however, the aggregate value is based on historical figures and operational requirements. At any time the actual worth is subject to change and unforeseen developments can result in an increase or decrease. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with seven (7) options in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to one (1) year per option.
