The City requires a Contractor to provide as and when required Watermain Hot Tapping Services for both the Utility Services and Capital Projects Divisions. The estimated aggregate value will average $50,000 annually; however, the value is based on historical and future requirements, unforeseen developments may cause the value to increase or decrease. The City utilizes watermain hot tapping services to minimize disruptions of water service to the public. The size of hot-tap typically ranges from 100mm to 450mm and is performed both for service connections and to join City mainlines. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with two (2) options in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to one (1) year.
