ABI Annual Construction Aspirational Participation Goal: MBE 4.6 % WBE 0% This project encompasses the replacement of the existing chiller and chilled water pump at the Public Works building located at 161 S. Charlotte Street, Asheville, NC. The work includes the demo of the existing chiller, above ground piping and chilled water pump; pressure testing of existing underground pipe; and installation of new 90-ton air cooled chiller, above ground piping and base mounted, end-suction chilled water pump. Test and balance and integration of new equipment to the existing building controls system, is also part of the project scope. The bid also contains an add alternate for the re-routing of the existing chilled water pump piping.
