Renovation of an educational facility in Burnaby, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Remove all cladding, windows, and doors including sheathing and insulation/vapour barriers from the exterior walls (approximately 8,713 square feet in area) at the Forest Grove Elementary School, 4497 Eagle Creek Road, Forest Grove, B.C. Install new exterior sheathing with self-adhered membrane, new aluminium windows, metal doors & frames (with hardware). Use thermally broken girts through the insulation + 1-inch furring channels to provide a ventilated drainage cavity (rainscreen), with plywood backing and pre-finished horizontal ship-lapped cement board for the new cladding (complete with all related trims and flashings). Extend all services to remain and install/reinstall lights, cameras, vents, sensors, and other items to be maintained as part of the upgraded wall assembly. Tender has been cancelled.
