Site work for a water / sewer project in Kinston, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

PN- 20111.03 The waterlines in the Airport area of the North Carolina Global Trans Park (NCGTP) were installed in the 1940s. There are 770 feet of six (6) inch unlined lead joint cast iron waterlines, which will be replaced using 345 feet of eight (8) inch C-900 PVC waterlines. There are 2,574 feet of eight (8) inch unlined lead joint waterlines which will be replaced with 2,574 feet of eight (8) inch C-900 PVC waterlines, and there are 341 feet of unlined lead joint cast iron waterlines which will be replaced with 451 feet of twelve (12) inch ductile iron pipe waterlines. Many of the services are old lead services which will be replaced, and six (6) fire hydrants will be reconnected to the new waterline and two (2) fire hydrants will be replaced. Contractors are hereby notified that they must have the proper license under the State Laws governing their respective trades. Contractors must be licensed and general contractors must have license classification for Building Contractor. All bids will require a performance bond and a payment bond at time of contract execution (not required as part of the bid package).
