Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Any bid mailed shall be sent to Cleveland Utilities Water and Wastewater Division, ATTN: Jon Sparkman, P. O. Box 2730, Cleveland, TN 37320-2730. Any bid sent by Fedex or similar company shall be sent to Cleveland Utilities, Attention: Jon Sparkman, 2435 Guthrie Drive, N.W., Cleveland, TN, 37312. The Project consists of removing and replacing existing concrete slabs, installation of trench drains and PVC drain pipe, non-structural grout pumping to fill voids beneath a structure and relocation of approximately 75 feet of 2 PVC flushing water pipe. The allotted time for construction is to be 90 consecutive calendar days. Contractors are required to comply with TCA 62-6-119 as outlined in the Information to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within 45 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All questions should be directed to Matt Bolt. Cleveland Utilities reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids. It is the policy of Cleveland Utilities to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to that end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance or any other funding source on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, or ancestry. By virtue of submitting a response to this solicitation, bidders agree to comply with the same non-discrimination policy.
