The intent of this Request for Proposal is to establish an agreement to provide Automatic Door & Gate Services on a non-exclusive basis as the preferred vendor to the Saint Louis Zoo, as required for a term of two (2) years. All pricing for the core items are to remain firm for the two (2) years of the contract. With an option to extend an additional two (2) years if mutually agreed upon by both parties. The awarded Bidder must have a technician that is AADAM certified appointed to Zoo projects. For any work that may become necessary in the Elephant Management Facility, the technician(s) will need to have a current TB test. The Zoo does not administer it & is not responsible for the expense. Results take approximately 72 hours. All questions must be received by May 18, 2022 for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and 4 answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous. Questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted via email to Candace Bingham, Director of Procurement at cbingham@stlzoo.org.
