Celina Fire Station No. 3 is a new one story building of approximately 23,324 gross square feet located at 4400 f.m. 1385 in Celina, Texas that is intended to house the City of Celina Fire Department. Situated at the intersection of Ballenger Road and f.m. 1385, the site is mostly flat and will accommodate parking for both visitors and staff, as well as apparatus entry and exit. The building includes a five lane apparatus bay, living, dining, and sleeping quarters for twelve fire fighters, training spaces, and locker rooms. The apparatus bay is primarily stone veneer on 8" cmu backup wall, and the remainder of the facility is primarily stone veneer on steel stud backup wall. The project also includes a storm shelter that will be constructed of stone veneer on 12" cmu backup wall at the men's locker room.
