Job No. C-91-206-22, I-80 Corridor Management from East of Ridge Rd to US 30, Phase III Construction Engineering Projects, Various Counties, Region One/District On This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 25% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on August 4, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Construction Corridor Management services as required for all contracts associated with the reconstruction of the I-80 corridor from East of Ridge Road to US 30. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing services as directed by IDOT and in coordination with the services being provided under the Design Corridor Management Contract. The department is finalizing design and construction project limits and may modify those limits and scope during and after the time of negotiations. In general, the project limits are assumed to include the full I-80 corridor and all project located within the corridor. The anticipated construction completion date is November 30, 2028. The Consultant must complete and submit final measurements, calculations, and final contract records documents to the department no later than six (6) weeks after the completion of the project. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS). After all responses have been evaluated, firms may be asked to make oral presentations during the week of July 18, 2022. The firm acting as the prime must be prequalified in all the prequalification categories requested in the project advertisement even if they plan to subcontract part of the project, except where noted in a specific project advertisement. Any work being done by a consultant, prime or sub must be prequalified in the IDOT prequalification category of work they are performing.
