This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) relates to planned requirements of Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll (hereby referred to as "AHI") with respect to the pre-qualification of Electrical contractors who will assume the role of General Contractor for the purposes of this project. This RFSQ presents instructions governing the proposals to be submitted and the material to be included therein; a description of the service to be provided; requirements which must be met to be eligible for consideration; evaluation criteria; deliverables; and other requirements. The proponents scoring a minimum of 100 points, as outlined in the scoring document, will be Pre-Qualified for an upcoming RFP for the installation of 2 new Diesel Generators at the Alexandra Hospital Facility in Ingersoll Ontario. The scope includes the addition of two new diesel emergency generators and replacement of distribution equipment at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. The existing generator is to be removed. The distribution will be reconfigured to suit the new equipment. A new fuel tank for the existing boilers will be installed as part of the project. The new generators will be located in the rear parking lot in self contained sound attenuating enclosures. The existing generator room will be utilized as an electrical room. Major equipment has been procured. The two generators, transfer switches and some of the distribution equipment has been ordered and shop drawings have been received. The Contractor will coordinate the delivery and installation and will take full responsibility for the equipment. The project is set to mobilize 2022-05. Some of the pre-ordered equipment has already arrived on site. The generators are expected to be delivered in Oct 2022. Construction is expected to complete in late 2022 with equipment testing and commissioning leading to substantial performance by 2023-02-28 and total completion by 2023-03-31.
