Saving Project...

Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in North Saanich, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

BC Ferries' Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal is a major transportation facility located in North Saanich, British Columbia. Components of the terminal's electrical distribution equipment are at the end of their service life and require replacing. The scope of work for the Project includes replacing components of the high-voltage and low-voltage voltage electrical distribution system with new equipment. The general requirements of the Scope of Work include: Removal of existing electrical cabling, power distribution centres, transformers, and switchgear; Supply, installation and commissioning of low-voltage distribution equipment; Installation and commissioning of Owner-supplied high-voltage cables and unit substations; and, Civil site improvements at existing substation locations.
