On Behalf Of Southeast Regional Management District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Paving to Serve Oakwood Section 1 The Project consists of paving to serve a single-family subdivision. Key Map No. 286-H, M. The deadline to ask questions is 5/16/2022 10:30 AM CST Questions for this project will be accepted up until 72 hours prior to Bid Opening. Responses to questions will be provided in addendum form in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No responses will be provided through the Q/A platform. Scope Of Work: o Drilling and sampling a total of five (5) borings to a depth of 20 feet each in the proposed site. o Obtaining continuous soil samples to 12 feet and at pre-determined intervals to the borings termination depths. o Measure the depth of groundwaterfor every boring during and after completion of drilling. o Earth Engineering will perform granular soil sampling utilizing the Standard Penetration Test (split spoon sampler) by driving. Blow counts will be recorded as produced by a 140-pound weight falling 30 inches (ASTM D-1558). Cohesive soils will be sampled using a thin-walled sampler (Shelby Tube) hydraulically pushed into the soil (ASTM D-1587). o Performing laboratory tests on selected representative soil samples to develop the engineering properties of the soil. These tests may include pocket penetrometers, unconfined compression, present moisture content, percentpassing 200 sieves, dry densities, Atterberg Limits, and unconfined compression, as deemed appropriate.
