This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence. The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: Aquatic Chemical treatments on the Utah side of Bear Lake, UT per Attachment B - Scope of Work. The overall purpose of this project is to implement chemical treatment of Eurasian watermilfoil at targeted areas of Bear Lake in accordance with EPA NPDES and Utah DEQ Pesticide General Permit Requirements. These treatments are intended to reduce the spread of Eurasian watermilfoil throughout the lake and the larger Bear River system and assist FFSL in the protection of our Public Trust values on sovereign land. It is the intention to establish a 3year contract that will allow for 3 rounds of treatment, one during summer/fall of 2022, a second during summer/fall of 2023, and the third during the summer/fall of 2024.
