This Request for Quote is issued by the James City County to obtain quotes for seal coating and re-striping the parking lot at the James City County Recreation Center. All work shall be completed within 30 days of the start date indicated in the Notice to Proceed. Contract award shall be based on the lowest responsive and responsible Quote for the Total Base Bid. All questions pertaining to this project should be directed to Caprice White, Procurement Specialist, no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 12, 2022 in writing by email: Caprice.White@jamescitycountyva.gov. Addendum will be issued by James City County Purchasing. When requested in the bid, the County shall require the successful bidder to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond with surety satisfactory to the County Attorney in the amount of the contract price at a time of or prior to execution of the contract. Scope of Work: A. Provide all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, consumables, and supplies required to provide seal coating and re-striping The Work under this Project consists of: 1. The James City County Recreation Center in James City County located at 5301 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. The Contractor shall coordinate with the County's Capital Projects Coordinator to develop a schedule for this work. All pavement markings shall be restored to existing conditions. 2. Contractor to perform crack sealing (up to 1 1/2 " wide) on all cracks. 3. Contractor to seal coat (2 coats) entire asphalt lot per attached site plan. 4. Contractor to reapply all pavement markings after seal coating. 5. Work will be conducted in phases to facilitate the public's access to the Recreation Center. Access to the JCC Recreation Center must be maintained. 6. All work and materials are to comply with the most recent edition of the HRPDC.
