The municipality of Saint-Ferdinand would like to obtain bids for the repair work on rue Principale. The work includes, but is not limited to, the repair of the paving using debonding, excavation, granular reloading and the installation of two (2) layers of bituminous mix over a length of approximately 2 km, but also the removal and repair of existing curbs and sidewalks. This project will be carried out within the framework of the PAVL programme. The awarding of the contract is therefore conditional on obtaining the subsidy, financing from the Municipality and obtaining the other required authorizations (if necessary; loan by-law, etc.). The Tenderer who will be awarded the contract must carry out the work according to the plans and specifications produced by the FQM on May 6, 2022. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest tender, nor any of the tenders received, and it declines all responsibility with regard to one or the other of the Tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. The contract is awarded by decision of the Council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council.
Bidders with an establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to the Municipality within the framework of this call for tenders, namely the Accord Québec- Ontario (ACCQO), the Quebec-New Brunswick Agreement (AQNB) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). Tenderers must obtain the tender documents from the Electronic Tender System website. The fees are set according to the rates established by the Electronic Tender System. A tender guarantee of 10% of the submitted price must accompany the tender.
Performance and Material Bond 50% is required.
