Sealed bids are invited for the Site Cleanup and Disposal of Asbestos-Containing Materials at Magothy Bay Natural Area Preserve in Northampton County, VA. The project is generally described as site cleanup, sitework, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) at a collapsed structure (former potato barn). The site is located at: 37.151526, -75.966051 in Northampton County, VA. A Bid Bond is not required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No pre-bid conference will be held. The site will be available for an optional pre-bid site review on May 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
