Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in West Memphis, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Repair and Painting of a 500,000 Gallon Concrete Clearwell. The clearwell is located at 604 E Cooper, West Memphis, AR A. Provide crew for the removal of sand that has built up in the clearwell. West Memphis Utilities to provide vacuum truck, hoses and disposal of sand. B. Preparation of surfaces, which are to receive finishes. Sharp edges can cause premature coating failure. All sharp edges, weld spatter and burrs shall be ground flush. C. Remove the existing embedded ladder rungs. Install a new ladder at the access hatch. The ladder shall be constructed of stainless-steel and shall meet current OSHA codes. The ladder shall be attached to the concrete floor and to the upper wall near the hatch frame with stainless steel expansion bolts. D. The transfer pumps, piping and base plates will be removed by others. Bid item 8 includes preparing the surface of the pumps, piping and new base plates (provided by others) and painting per Section 3.04 A. Once items are re-installed, by others, touch up painting and placing new grout are work items that are included in bid item 8. E. Repair all active or structural cracks per section 3.03 of the specification. F. Remove unsound concrete and patch per section 3.03 of the specification. G. Repair damaged concrete and grout at the pump bases. See section 3.04 A 5. H. Collection, handling and disposal of debris.
