Request for Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for Architects for the Reynolds/University Center Chiller Replacement Project, West Memphis, Arkansas Arkansas State University Mid-South is soliciting sealed written Statements of Qualifications from qualified, licensed architects. ASU Mid-South is considering the replacement and upgrade of the chiller system in the Reynolds Center and University Center. At a minimum the Statement of Qualifications shall include the following items: 1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of professional services required. 2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project. 3. The past record of performance on the firm with respect to such factors as control of cost, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules and deadlines. 4. The firms proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. The State of Arkansas encourages the participation of all small, minority and women business enterprises. The State of Arkansas reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive any formalities. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
