Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ottawa, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
In general, the work consists of completing the renovation of the back parking lot of the Canada Science and Technology Museum. This will consist of removing existing asphalt earth burn to increase the parking capacity and promote a better traffic flow, all as set out in the Tender Documents, Specifications and Drawings. During the course of the work, access to the back road must be maintained, particularly for the artifact move and a sequence of construction must maintain a smooth surface for the vehicle moving the collection. The Museum will be open during the construction with operating hours of 09:00 to 17:00 and the moving of artifact with operate within the same time frame. Prior to commencement of the Work, the successful Bidder will be expected to submit a traffic plan for consideration by the Project Manager and Client representative for prior approval. The successful Bidder will be responsible for the security of heavy equipment transiting in and to the work zone. The work is expected to begin in early July 2022 and substantial performance by the end of September 2022. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com tender cancelled.
