The City of Kerrville is interested in receiving qualifications statements, which will lead to the possible award of a contract to provide DesignBuild services for a project involving the City's Heart of the Hills Heritage Center (HHHC). Scope of Work The City of Kerrville is seeking the services of qualified Progressive Design-Build teams with experience and skills for the design, permit- ting, and construction of the Heart of the Hills Heritage Center (HHHC) located at 529 Water Street, Kerrville, Texas. The City of Kerrville plans to convert a historic house in Kerrville, Texas, into a multi-purpose facility for use by staff and the general public. The City has elected to use the Design-Build method of project delivery authorized by Texas Government Code 2269 to facilitate design and construction necessary for the renovation of this facility. The scope of the project will consist of the renovation and conversion of the structure into a new public museum and City offices as well as other improvements to the site including ADA compliant access, HVAC, New Elevator, Entry Plaza, Amphitheater, Pavilion, Parking, Arbor, Overlook, Trail / Trailhead, Outdoor Display and Market and Gathering Spaces. Guidelines for Content of Qualification Statements DO NOT INCLUDE COST INFORMATION with the qualification statement. Responses that include cost or pricing information will be rejected and will not be considered by the City. Detailed instructions on preparation of the qualification statement must be obtained from the project website. Re- spondents will be evaluated and ranked on established criteria out- lined in the RFQ document. All direct questions about the meaning or intent regarding this RFQ and Project shall be submitted through the website. This information should be requested as soon as possible in order to allow time to prepare the document and comply with the procedures. ALL Questions received after the deadline for RFQ questions may not be answered. Deadline for Submittal of Statement of Qualifications Completed statement of qualifications must be submitted through the project website, website.
