A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. The project locations are open to the public and can be viewed by each prospective offeror. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. SCOPE OF CONTRACT Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, incidentals, inspection, quality control, and supplies necessary to stormproof Forest Service roads within the Caldor Fire footprint. All work shall be in accordance with the contract requirements and within the contract time of 90 days. Contractor shall, without additional expense to the government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, permits, which comply with any federal, state, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the work. The Contractor should refer to the SCHEDULE OF ITEMS and project plans and specifications when making estimates of quantities or work. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. Payment for contract work will be made only for and under those pay items included in the Schedule of Items. All other work and materials will be considered as incidental to and included in the payment for the items shown. See attachment "1. Statement of Work" for further details.
