Site work and paving for a civil project in Cullman, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project generally consists of construction of approximately 975 feet of roadway from Oak Drive NE to the proposed addition at the Cullman Primary School. Associated items of work include installation of an 8-foot by 8-foot box culvert with wing walls and approximately 500 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer. The south end of the proposed roadway intersects Oak Drive NE at the intersection with 8th Street NE. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 120 working days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
