**As of August 03, 2022, project not going to award, no information for rebid.** The project generally consists of 708 linear feet of double 8'(span) x 5'(rise) box culvert to be installed between the Plaza and Oak Drive circular loop. Installations can either be cast-in-place or pre-cast box culvert. New fencing will also be required, with all necessary labor and materials therefore furnished. Heavy clearing will be required prior to ditch demolition and new installations. ALL WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED WITHIN 200 CALENDAR DAYS FOLLOWING ISSUANCE OF THE NOTICE TO PROCEED. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the City of Dothan Public Works Department, Jonathan Lucas (phone 334-615-4420). No partial or "split sets" will be issued. All checks for copies of the Bidding Documents shall be made payable to PRAESTARE ENGINEERING. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his BID, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each BIDDER must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with the provisions set forth in Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama and must be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. The BIDDERS current State of Alabama License Number must appear on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his/her bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
