The Project will consist of the following: Approximately 7,000 LF of gravity sewer mains, 9,000 LF of pres- sure sewer mains, one 400 gpm pump station, and assorted bores, manholes, valves and appurtenances. Bids shall be unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the CITY OF PONTOTOC, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. This project is being funded in part by the Community Development Block Grant #1137-21-302-PF01and the rules and regulations therein apply. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u). CDBG regulations governing the grant re- quire that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be ex- tended to Section 3 businesses and Section 3 residents.
