Renovation of an educational facility in Boone, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Description One-Two Sentences This project will completely renovate and modernize the 46-year-old Wey Hall building, built in 1976. The 3-story, masonry veneer, steel structure consisting of 54,098 GSF, housing the ASU Dept. of Art. The scope will be to fully renovate & modernize the building upgrading or replacing, as required, the building's MEP systems, fire alarm, adding a new freight elevator in lieu of the existing passenger elevator, building envelope, IT infrastructure with new sprinkler system. The new addition will house mechanical, electrical, new stairwell, freight elevator and circulation.
