The contract will be awarded as soon as practicable and bids cannot be withdrawn or modified for 60 days. No bid will be received or accepted after the above-specified time. These steps must be taken in order to be an official bidder. A plan deposit will not be required. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, including all additive alternates. The successful bidder will be required to execute a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act, enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee.
