**As of July 12, 2022, project was awarded to Plum Contracting, Inc. , awarded amount is $3,066,300 ( $3,066,299.50 ).** This project provides for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and work necessary to install two new drainage pipe systems along SR 980 with approximately 680 feet of stream restoration in between said systems. The drainage pipe will cross under SR 980 (Nine Eighty Rd), SR 4012 (Johns Ave) and the Panhandle Trail to outlet at Robinson Run.From the US-22 Interchange with PA 980, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, the project site is located approximately 6.4 miles south on PA 980 in Washington County, Pennsylvania.A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. The opening and listing of bids not meeting all the terms and conditions of the bid advertisement or bid procedures does not act as a waiver or modification of any requirements contained in the bid advertisement or bid procedure. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract.
