The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MERN) wishes to award a construction contract for the restoration of sandpits under the responsibility of the State. The MERN must restore these sand pits that are inactive, in violation or at the end of their life, in accordance with the Regulation respecting quarries and sand pits (CQLR, Q-2, r.7.1). The MERN prepared this call for tenders in order to restore ten (10) sand pits on the territory of the MRC Abitibi-Ouest. The work will be done in accordance with article 42 of the Regulation respecting quarries and sand pits. They will include in particular the leveling of the land, the elimination of waste, the decompaction of the soil, the installation of road signs, the revegetation with green alders and jack pines and other related tasks.
The tender must be presented by a contractor having his business address in Quebec or in a territory covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement, an establishment where he carries out his activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified with his name and accessible during normal business hours. office. The contractor must also have the required licenses from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec. The MERN particularly draws your attention to clauses 3.13 and 3.14 of the call for tenders document which indicate the conditions of contractor eligibility to tender and compliance of tenders to be respected in the context of this call for tenders. This contract begins at the signing of the contract and ends on November 30, 2022. The work begins on the date set by the Minister's representative who notifies the Contractor in writing and must be completed no later than October 30, 2022.
