PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT 1.1 The OMHM issues a public call for tenders to retain the services of a SUPPLIER for the collection, transportation and disposal of bulky items and other residual materials. The mandate is spread over two (2) separate Territories, namely the Eastern Territory and the Western Territory, also including the Residence Service (SR), and the Affordable Rent Management Service (SGLA). The bidder may bid for a contract for one (1) territory or two (2) separate contracts for the two (2) territories. 1.2 The contract is to render the services and perform all work in accordance with the contract documents. in a safe, responsible and professional manner. The OMHM expects each bidder to have relevant experience and sufficient resources to carry out the work and services requested by this call for tenders. The SUPPLIER must assign staff capable of performing collection, transportation and disposal of bulky items and other OMHM residual materials according to the rules of the trade, in a safe, responsible and professional manner. 2. INITIAL DURATION OF THE AGREEMENT 2.1 Subject to the conditions mentioned in the tender documents, the contract covers the period from June 15, 2022 to June 14, 2024. 3. RENEWAL OF THE CONTRACT 3.1 Upon written notice from the OMHM to the SUPPLIER, this contract may be renewed for a period of twelve (12) months, at the discretion of the OMHM.
