The City of Alameda (City), California is seeking a Homeless Outreach Team to work in cooperation with existing homeless services as part of a five-year Homelessness Strategic Plan (HSP) to reduce and prevent homelessness in our city and strengthen the physical health, mental health, and social service supports for our unhoused residents. The Homeless Outreach Team will play an important role in the shift toward housing and connecting vulnerable individuals and families to basic human rights in a dignified manner Please email any questions regarding the RFP to Marcie Johnson, at mjohnson@alamedaca.gov by 4:00PM on Monday, May 9. Scope of work: The City looks to the Homeless Outreach Team to present a high-quality scope of work and cost-effective fee proposal, with a maximum budget of $150,000. The Homeless Outreach Team must demonstrate a proven record of serving the Target Population that includes, but is not limited to: a capacity to stretch to meet individuals 24/7, staffing reflective of the community served, and a collaborative approach to person-centered problem solving.
