Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be "turn key" and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 237 linear feet (LF) of 18" corrugated metal pipe (CMP), 319 LF of 30" CMP, 119 LF of 36" CMP, 33 LF of 30" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), 45 LF of 48" RCP, 37 LF of 48" CMP, four catch basins, pavement, curb and gutter, four driveway sections, one concrete headwall, one concrete junction box, 176 LF of water main and a portion of a rock wall. The Project includes installation of approximately 134 LF of 18" RCP, 329 LF of 48" RCP, 167 LF of 60" RCP, 38 LF of 45" X 73" RCP Arch Pipe, four double wing catch basins (GDOT STD. 1034D), two concrete headwalls (GDOT STD. 1001-B), two concrete junction boxes (GDOT STD. 1011-A), 196 LF of 8" DIP water main and appurtenances, concrete driveway and aprons, curb and gutter, asphalt pavement and rock wall. Coordinating the stabilization of two existing utility poles is also included in the scope of work for the project. The project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for Justine Terrace Stormwater Improvement Project have been prepared by Rindt, Inc., Brian Hart, PE, dated 09/10/2021. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope. All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way. All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All bids must be accompanied by adequate bid security (certified check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit) drawn in favor of the Authority and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, which shall be subject to forfeiture as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to promptly enter into the proposed contract for performance of the Project with the Authority. Award may be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder; however, the Authority reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid that is nonresponsive or submitted by a nonresponsible bidder. The Authority further reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in the Invitation for Bids and bids submitted. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
