Ridge Road Docks Replacement Project The purpose of the project is to replace the existing floats at the Town Launch Ramp at Ridge Road with new floats. The existing floats will be removed by the Harbormaster Department for disposal by the Town. The selected vendor shall construct and deliver the new floats to the Town Launch Ramp at Ridge Road. The Marshfield DPW will assist by helping to unload and setting new floats in the water at the boat ramp. The Harbormaster staff will assist with towing and pushing floats/docks into place. Once in place the selected vendor will be responsible for connecting dock sections together and securing them to existing pilings. Description of floats: The main float consists of five floats, six feet in width and twenty feet in length for an overall length of +-101'-5". The finger float is attached to the north side of the outboard end (east) of the main float and it is also a 6-ft. by 20-ft. float. The main float is held in place by five piles. The centerline of each pile from the west end of the main float are as follows: Pile 1: 4'-11" Pile 2: 25'-2" Pile 3: 46'-2" Pile 4: 65'-11" Pile 5: 85'-8" The pile supporting the finger float is on the west side and the centerline of the pile is 3'-4" from the north end.
