Provide services for the procurement, transportation, startup and initial testing necessary for the replacement of IID's existing emergency standby diesel generator at the Valley Plaza Energy Administration building located in El Centro, CA. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website electronically under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, June 9, 2022. Not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which this contract is to be performed, and not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work fixed as provided in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1720), Part 7, Division 2 of the Labor Code, shall be paid to all workmen and apprentices employed on this public work. Prevailing Wage per diem wages can also be reviewed and downloaded on-line electronically. The responsibility for labor classification determination is the responsibility of the contractor. The successful contractor is required to submit to the IID TWO copies of its certified payrolls, for work performed under this contract, with its final invoice. If the Respondent fails to enter into a satisfactory Contract within a reasonable timeframe after the award is made, the IID may deem that the Respondent has rejected the award and shall notify the Respondent of this action. IID reserves the right to disqualify the awardee and award the Contract to the next lowest responsive responsible Respondent. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
