The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation is 11.77% of the dollar value of this contract. All bidders and proposers shall make good faith efforts to subcontract to the greatest extent feasible to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged businesses. Please mail all requests and deposits for plans to our mailing address, P. O. Box 8460, Monroe, Louisiana 71211. Deposits on the first set of documents furnished bona fide prime bidders shall be fully refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction, shall be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Owners Standard Form of Agreement/Contract for construction together with the Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) working days after award of contract. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Owner no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause per State Public Bid Law
