Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 7 The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MERN), through its Bas-Saint-Laurent regional office of the regional operations sector, requires the services of a contractor for the dismantling of buildings and the cleaning of 39 sites of illegal occupation of public land in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. In accordance with section 62 of the Act respecting the lands in the domain of the State (chapter T-8.1), the Department has taken possession of the buildings and improvements present on the sites and wishes to dispose of them. For information, the order of magnitude of the work is between $105,000 and $125,000. The contractor must consider this order of magnitude only as an indication and not as a minimum or a maximum. The Minister particularly draws your attention to clauses 3.13 and 3.14 of the call for tenders document, which indicate the conditions of contractor eligibility and compliance of tenders to be respected in the context of this call for tenders. Contractors wishing to submit a bid must hold the required licenses from the Régie du bâtiment in this area. The tender must be presented by a contractor having, in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable intergovernmental agreements, an establishment where he carries out his activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified with his name and accessible during normal business hours.
