It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Business and Professions Code section No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the County Engineer of Napa County and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under Section 2 of the 2018 Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified in the above referred to Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess a Class B or C-20 license at the time of the Contract award. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety.
