Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
SCOPE OF WORK The City of St. Joseph The City of St. Joseph is requesting proposals to replace the north boiler at the St. Joseph Water Plant from companies who can provide turnkey services including mechanical services, plumbing, piping, controls, energy services, and training for plant staff. These services need to be within the divisions of the same company,; not sub-contracted as services the main mechanical cannot provide. An authorized MSCA Green Star certified contractor is preferred. The company must staff a minimum of a Certified Professional Engineer (PE) and a LEED Accredited Professional, which may be the same individual. The company must be a Factory Authorized Service and Start Up provider, and have current certifications from the factory service school. The company is responsible for all measurements and other details of this proposal. Response to this request for proposal is indication that the bidder has checked all aspects of this request. The awarded bidder must comply with the applicable Federal, State, and local safety requirements. Prior to initiation of services, the awarded bidder shall provide a copy of their written safety program, which shall include health, safety, and environmental quality for review. The work includes the following: Demolition and installation of new Hot Water Heating System for the St. Joseph Water Plant consisting of (2) new Fulton EDR 750 Boilers and Pumps or an equivalent system.
