Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The tentatively awarded contractor is B and Z Company, Inc with an amount of $1,761,831.00. An anticipated start date has not been determined at this point. Investigation and replacement of approximately 150 lead water service lines along the I-94 BL within the City of St. Joseph. DEPOSIT: 5% of bid amount Bidder agrees that the Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Progress Clause and in no case later than August 31, 2023 for Area 1 and May 24, 2024 for Area 2. The contractor shall use the information gathered from Point-of-Entry Inspection (see Special Provision for Point of Entry Inspection & Right of Entry Agreement) and the Initial Excavation or pothole inspection (see Special Provision for Public Water Service Replacement) to determine the scope of work for each LSLR. The contractor shall comply with the 2018 Lead and Copper rule when determining the scope of replacement for each property.
