This project involves the removal of 4 existing culverts and replacement with 4 new culverts, supplied by the R.M, clay capping with a 12" lift, ensuring the finished road top is at least 7.0 m wide with 3:1 shoulders. Contractor must: ensure rocks are removed from clay and that the top 0.4 m of surface is rock free, compact to construction standards, haul and place rip rap, reshape and slope ditch, and perform all other associated work related to the installation/clay cap. Clay supplied nearby. Gravel will be supplied by the municipality. Excess stones to be picked and piled. A Grader will be required on-site. It is expected that the contractor will supply and ensure that appropriate signage is maintained during construction phase. Qualifications: All qualified tenders will be accepted.
