Clay Clap South of SE 29-19-08 W2 through to North of NE 32-19-08 W2- Approximately 2 Miles. This project involves the removal of 7 existing culverts and replacement with 7 new culverts, supplied by the R.M, clay capping with a 12" lift, ensuring the finished road top is at least 7.0 m wide with 3:1 shoulders. Contractor must: ensure rocks are removed from clay and that the top 0.4 m of surface is rock free, compact to construction standards, haul and place rip rap, reshape and slope ditch, and perform all other associated work related to the installation/clay cap. Clay from borrow pit at a maximum distance of 2 miles away. Gravel will be supplied by the municipality. Excess stones to be picked and piled. A Grader and Rock Truck will be required on-site. It is expected that the contractor will supply and ensure that appropriate signage is maintained during construction phase. Qualifications: All qualified tenders will be accepted. Tenderers must have obtained Certificate of Recognition (COR) safety certification, proof of road building software, namely Trimble, Leica or Topcon GPS. Tenderers must have General Liability Insurance Coverage of $5,000,000.00. Tenderers must be fully bondable for Bid Bonding and Performance Bonding for the submitted Tender price.
