Remodeling of a municipal facility in Salem, Oregon. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

The Project consists of the construction of tenant improvement remodels. Work includes construction of a new enclosed office area on the third floor, to separate the Human Resources Department from the remainder of the space. 3. Contract Dates. PROJECT START DATE: One (1) calendar day from issuance of Notice to Proceed. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: Ninety (90) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. FINAL COMPLETION: Ninety seven (97) calendar days from Issuance of Notice to Proceed. 4. Liquidated Damages. Failure to complete the project known as Public Services Building, ODE, Human Resources Remodel by the specified time will result in damage to the State of Oregon. Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that the Contractor shall pay to the State of Oregon, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $500.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date stated in Section 3 of this Agreement.
