T **As of June 20, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** he project is titled Phase 3 Infiltration Correction Services - Control Boxes. The work consists of sealing the city's sewer collection system from inflow and/or repairs of the system, and other associated work. All materials furnished and all work performed, shall be in accordance with the specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. A certified check or cashier's check on a National or State Bank or a bid bond in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Clewiston, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw from the competition after opening of the bids, and in the event the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will enter into contract and furnish the required performance and payment bonds, failing which, he shall forfeit the bid deposit as liquidated damages. The performance and payment bonds shall be executed by a fully authorized surety, acceptable to the owner and licensed by the State of Florida. The owner reserves the right to hold all bids for thirty (30) days and to reject any and all bids, with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, or to accept the bid in its judgment that serves the owner.
