The qathet Regional District (qRD) is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to prepare a Parks & Trails Strategy that builds on the successes of previous park and trail plans and guides the development, operation, management, and acquisition of regional and community parks and trails for the next ten (10) years. The Plan will present the current portfolio of regional and community parks and trails, identify trends and challenges that influence parks and trails, and summarize the desires and aspirations for the parks system that are heard through the project's public engagement process. Proponents shall base their Proposal on providing everything, including all labour, materials, tools, equipment and all necessary suplies and incidentals required to fulfil the Scope of Work (Section E). The Proponent in their Proposal must state any deviation from these requirements. Facsimile and electronic submissions will not be considered. Late Proposals will not be considered and will be returned to Proponents unopened at the Proponent's expense. The person(s) authorized to sign on behalf of the Proponent and to bind the Proponent to statements made in response to this RFP must sign the Proposal Submission Form (Section H). Unsigned Proposals will not be accepted. Proponents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Proposals in the manner and time prescribed.
