Renovation of a municipal facility in St Stephen, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Carefully remove any/all blinds, curtains, window coverings, etc. present in area of windows to be removed. Tag each item as to its location and reinstall good to existing following window replacement. .2 Remove identified windows complete. Replace with new units as scheduled. New windows are to be installed plum. Do interior repairs and modification as required to do complete installation good to existing. Existing interior trims to be removed as necessary to accommodate new window installment. Provide as necessary: blocking, new trims to match existing, insulations and sealants to ensure installation is complete in all respects. Reference details and specification Section 085000. Paint trim with colours to match existing. Submit colour to Architect-Engineer for selection. .3 All caulking to be removed and replaced with new with colour selected by Architect-Engineer from samples submitted. Reference spec Section 07 92 00 Joint Sealants. .4 All exposed Lintel surfaces are to be scraped and painted. Colour to match brick colour. .5 Site dimensions are required for all windows and openings prior to ordering materials. .6 Existing Corian window sills are to remain with removal only as necessary to accommodate placement of new windows. If removed, reinstall good to existing. .7 Remove existing plastic laminate sills assembly complete and replace with new Corian sills to match existing Corian in composition, colour and shape. Depth of sills varies. .8 Repaint all window surrounds. Colours to match existing. .9 Remove and replace identified aluminum frame and panels c/w glazing. (Window E) Existing perimeter steel frame to remain is to be prepped and painted. Colour to match existing. .10 Remove identified portion of existing plywood soffit and replace with new perforated pre-painted steel soffit. Colour White. Reference drawings A5 and A6. .11 Remove identified existing aluminum fascia sheets and snap on battens. Replace with new pre-painted steel board and batten. Colour to be selected by Architect from samples submitted by contractor. Reference drawings A5 and A6. .12 Existing potlights in soffit are to be removed, cleaned, stored on site, and reinstalled following new work. Include any/all electrical required. Ensure potlights are fully operational. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
